In Geislingen an der Steige, Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH, together with the City of Geislingen, has created the new “Bunte Welt im Stadtpark” daycare centre using wood element construction.
The new building provides space for 88 children to discover, learn and play, and for educators to accompany them in bright, modern rooms where potential can unfold and talents can grow.
The project shows what future-oriented educational infrastructure can look like: functional, sustainable and focused on what children, families and educational staff truly need.
A key aspect was the close partnership between everyone involved. Together with:
The City of Geislingen an der Steige as client
- andOFFICE (for building permit planning)
- Merklegruppe Projekt Holzbau Immobilien GmbH (as part of the general contractor team for planning and construction)
- Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH (100% owned subsidiary of Hoffnungsträger Stiftung)

Construction began in August 2025, and the daycare centre was handed over in April 2026. Even with building work continuing through the winter months, the project was completed in just eight months. It shows what becomes possible when all partners work towards one shared goal:
smiling children in their new rooms.
With projects like this, Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler helps create livable neighbourhoods and strengthens municipal educational services for the people who live there.
