Leonberg, 8 July 2026
Hoffnungsträger Group is announcing personnel and strategic changes in two subsidiaries: Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH and Sinngeber gGmbH.
Change in the management of Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler
There is a change in the management of Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler: Oliver Konanz stepped down as Managing Director as planned on 30 June 2026. He had taken on the role on an interim basis.
Following the appointment of Dirk Steinberg as Managing Director in February 2026 and after a joint transition phase, Oliver Konanz is now concluding this function within the group. As General Representative, he continues to be responsible for Finance and IT at Hoffnungsträger Group and remains Managing Director of Hoffnungsträger Verantwortungseigentum GmbH.
Based on preliminary figures for 2025, Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH looks back on the most successful financial year since its foundation.
Sinngeber sets clear strategic focus and continues on growth path
Sinngeber is also continuing to develop. As part of its strategic focus, Sinngeber will in future align its services even more closely with the added value of a multi-family office. Its mission statement captures the underlying bespoke approach as follows:
“We serve wealth holders through purpose-driven philanthropy. Together with them, we shape individually effective engagement – from strategy to implementation. Through our work, we help shape the philanthropic culture in the German-speaking region.”
The steadily growing number of clients underlines the added value of this strategic focus.
This development also includes a personal transition: Andreas Schiemenz is leaving his role as Co-Managing Director of Sinngeber as of 30 June 2026 for age-related reasons. Hoffnungsträger Group thanks him for five years of intensive development work.
In future, Michael Schmid will assume sole responsibility for the management of Sinngeber.
The guiding ambition remains unchanged: Hoffnungsträger Group, together with its subsidiaries Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH, Hoffnungsträger Verantwortungseigentum GmbH and Sinngeber gGmbH, contributes to turning conviction into impact.
About Hoffnungsträger
The Hoffnungsträger Foundation was founded in 2013 by Tobias Merckle and has set itself the goal of turning many people into bearers of hope. Since its foundation, under the leadership of Marcus Witzke, integrative housing projects such as the Hoffnungshaus® as well as international programmes for the rehabilitation of offenders and their children have been established. The group now comprises Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH, Hoffnungsträger Global Impact and Rosskopf + Partner (since 2021). Furthermore, the subsidiary Sinngeber, operating under the umbrella of the Hoffnungsträger Group, facilitates values-based philanthropy for high-net-worth individuals who wish to support social transformation through their commitment.
Through its diverse programmes, Hoffnungsträger demonstrates how systemic thinking, helping people to help themselves, and action for the common good, in conjunction with social innovation, can bring about sustainable change. At the heart of its work lie charity, active and sustainable integration, and the gift of hope and prospects – these form the foundation for a sustainable and solidarity-based society.
