With effect from 1st February 2026, the Hoffnungsträger Foundation has appointed Dirk Steinberg as the new Managing Director of Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH. With his many years of experience as a manager in industry, business and charitable educational work, he brings strategic expertise and value-oriented thinking to project development.

The Hoffnungsträger Foundation is delighted to welcome Dirk Steinberg as the new Managing Director of Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH.

“We take a holistic approach to our projects – socially, environmentally and economically. It is not just about creating housing, but real living spaces that give hope,” emphasises Steinberg. For his new role, he hopes for open and collaborative partnership: “Trust, mutual respect and clear responsibilities are, for me, the foundation for achieving great things together. It is particularly important to me to promote sustainable community life through high-quality housing – underpinned by our Christian values.”

Hoffnungsträger Projektentwickler GmbH stands for serial and innovative timber construction, enabling affordable, high-quality and future-proof buildings to be completed in a short timeframe. Its projects promote holistic urban and neighbourhood development and send a clear signal for circular, resource-efficient construction.

The company has already received several awards for its innovative approaches, including the German Design Award, the German Timber Construction Award, the Iconic Award and, most recently, the Expo Real Impact Award as the “Real estate company with the best social impact”.
